Revlon ColorStay Foundation Combination/Oily Skin-Review

I have been using this foundation for about 1 year. This product has totally amazed me. I have a combination skin with Asian skin tone. Like many girls I also have an issue is choosing the right color foundation. I bought this foundation in shade 240 medium beige. I must say I was not disappointed at all. It matches my skin tone very well.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation comes in a small glass bottle. Without a pump. This makes the product difficult to handle as there are chances for the product to spill so one have to use it with care. Furthermore When I opened the bottle I weird smell comes out. I applied it with the help of my liquid foundation brush. It apply easily smoothly without appearing heavier on the skin. However as soon I start applying it, it dries quickly so I have to work fast in applying it. The good trick is to apply it in the form of dots.

I don’t have acne or dark spots on my skin so a single coat of it gives me full coverage. However I have to use a bit of concealer under my eyes to completely conceal my dark circles. In the picture I have applied it without a primer and you can see it has been applied smooth...so I think it works well without a primer.

After applying it neither appears heavy nor cakky on my skin instead my skin feel very light after applying it so, no doubt it’s a light weigh foundation as it claims. 

This product claims 24 hour stay...I have myself check it for about 10 hours and I must say it staying power is awesome. I didn't require any touch up after few hours of application.  However I did notice slight oil on my t zone after 6 -8 hours. It does not oxidizes and also does not break me at all. Over all it’s a good foundation with a cheap price, high quality and descent quantity.

Pros:

• It applies smoothly and easily on skin.
• Does not appear heavy on skin. 
• It does not oxidize on skin. 
• Staying power is awesome so, no need of touch-up. 
• It does not break me out. 
• The quantity is pretty good. 

Cons:

• Packing is not up to the mark it should have a pump. 
• Smell of the foundation is not good. 
• It dries very quickly so you need to work fast.
• You need a concealer to cover dark circles.

Rating: 4.9/5 as I love this foundation so much.
