WELL! Hope you all are good. Sorry about not being more active. I was on vacations. Recently I bought these amazing cream based matt perfection foundations from Color studio. Let see how they worked for me.

How to use: (colorstudiopro)

For a light and natural finish coverage, apply the foundation using a light hand with the included sponge. Dot the foundation on any imperfections before blending it onto the rest of the face. The creamy consistency blends into the skin effortlessly. To conceal any skin discoloration, use your ring finger with a small amount of product and tap it into the blemish.

For a medium coverage application, apply the foundation by picking up the product using the sponge and pat it into the skin.  The foundation dries matte so you can skip out on using a setting powder.

My Thoughts:

These are available in 5 shades; pink, beige, ivory, true ivory, and Asia. Online Selection of foundation shades is always a challenge. Do google the swatches, compare them, before making your mind to choose a particular shade. After seeing the swatches I realized that pink and Asia shades were not meant for my skin tone. As I normally use medium beige foundations so beige was a must to have for me. However the swatches of ivory and true ivory were giving a good match to my skin tone. So I ended up picking 3 shades, beige, ivory and true ivory.

When I got them, upon swatching them, I realize ivory and especially true ivory was far more match able to my skin tone than beige. So, if you have medium fair complexion, ivory and true ivory both would work good for you. Coming to the packing, well! I seriously love such type of packing that gives a separate compartment for the product and the sponge. The sponge compartment also have tiny holes in is bottom, to assure the passage of air in it.

The matt perfection compact has a cream based texture, just like a stick foundation. However the formula is quite light and wearable.  Perfect to be use on daily basis. I usually apply it over a moisturizer or primer, as without them it get quite difficult to blend; as the formula dries quickly. It gives light to medium coverage, and dose not oxidase. Stay good for 4 to 5 hours, but would work more prefect with a translucent powder. Well this is a must to try product if you are looking for light weight and wearable cream based foundation that provides light to medium coverage.

Pros:

Cheap

Good packing.

Amazing texture.

Light weight.

Wearable on daily basis.

Cons:

Less shades to choose from.

Sponge is hard.

Does not cover dark circles perfectly.
