Today I am going to share my experience about the most affordable compact powder in Maybelline catalogue. I wanted to try this beauty for so long, but don’t know why I didn’t do that. But finally I got this amazing product. I got this as a combo product to pair up with Maybelline mosses foundation as, together they set an effortless and flawless make up base. Would definitely do a detail post about that later on. Coming back to our product, let see how it turn out for me.

How to use:

Apply evenly with sponge all over the face and neck. Suitable for everyday use.

My Thoughts:

This compact comes in a very decent, travel friendly, and hygiene packing. Contains two different compartments. One contains the products and other one have sponge in it. There is a mirror on the underside of the lid, all this makes it perfect for quick touch up. The sponge compartments contains tiny holes underneath, to ensure the flow of fresh air to the sponge. Over all, thumbs up for such an awesome packing.

I have got it in light shade. Initially I thought it to be a wrong pick for medium beige skin tone. But thank God, it turn out to be a perfect match for my skin. The powder has a very fine, smooth and velvety texture. Feels so light on skin. On applying it goes very smoothly and blends very well in skin, but if you have dry skin, I would suggest you to use any good moisturizer underneath as if use solely on dry skin, it would accentuate dry patches of your skin. 

I normally use it alone, when I just need to fresh up my skin, as it instantly smoothes out my skin, and add shine free matt finish to my skin (I have combination skin, with oily T-zone). Provides light to medium coverage, but doesn’t completely hide your flaws. So if you want a good medium coverage, I would suggest you to use a concealer underneath. For parties this product would work very well with liquid or mousse based foundations.

Furthermore the best feature in it is SPF 25, that’s makes it an ideal product to use on daily basis. Coming to oil control feature. In hot and humid days it keeps my skin shine free for almost 3 to 4 hours that is pretty good, but after few hours my T-zone start to get a bit oily, so touch up is required. All over all, it’s a lovely product must to try product. That instantly smoothes out one’s complexion, giving a light weight natural coverage for 3 to 4 hours.
