BB cream are very handy when you are in hurry, they are great product to have and to use on. Only issue with them, is there availability in fewer shade, which gives one’s a tough time to choose the right shade for itself. Few months back I came across BB cream by Maybelline, Let see it live up to my expectations or not.

My Thoughts:

It available in 5 shades. I bought it online, so it was more like a blind shopping for me. I have to choose from light, dark, medium and universal glow. I choose the medium shade. When I got it in my hands, on having a swatch on it, I realized it is much darker then my skin tone. As I have said earlier, I have normal fair skin, medium beige I must say. So, if medium shade is darker for medium beige tone than, next option is the light shade.

When applied alone, my complexion got much darker than it really was.  However I was amazed to see the result when I applied my compressed powder on it. BB cream and compressed powder together worked very well for my skin tone. So I can’t say that medium shade was a totally wrong pick for me, as it worked too well for me in combination with compered powder.

It have got a smooth texture, is easy to apply and blends very well in no time. It very nicely smoothes out my skin tone but doesn’t perfectly conceals my flaws, especially the redness on my face. It prevents my skin from drying out and also doesn’t makes it greasy.

Overall, this BB cream in a hint, if you get the right shade. It’s always better to check foundation and products like that personally then buying them online without have a swatch of them.
