Few days back, I got a care package from mustela Pakistan, containing samples of some of their famous products. Generally clothing, make up and other accessories are not chosen with pros and cons, as they are not directly or indirectly making an effect on our body. However when choosing any skin care products, particular when something is concerned with your baby and maternity days, you should be very careful and choose your products with special care and consultations. 

Having said that, mustela is a name that does not need any intro, it’s one of the most famous skin care brands, good for babies and women.

I recently got chance to try some of its products that includes, crème change vitamin barrier cream, Hydra bebe, dermo-pediatrie, and vergetures double action stretch marks cream. All these products that I have got are samples sized, so due to limited quantity I have just used them for couple of times, My experience and review is totally based of that limited time usage, so don’t relate it to long term use.

Mustela Crème Change Vitamin Barrier Cream:

Claims: Mustela bébé's new Vitamin Barrier Cream 1>2>3 has been specially formulated to tackle the factors that trigger irritations and red nesses at their source thanks to a unique complex of patented natural active ingredients, thus guaranteeing three-fold effectiveness.

My Thoughts: this is by far my favorite products from mustela. Being a mom, the worst issue which we experience with our baby is the so called nightmare “Nappy Rash”. Oh! I just hate it, it hurts my little champ a lot. I have tried many nappy rash creams, international and local one, tried the home made remedies too, none worked well for my baby, the only products that came to my rescue is this superb product, vitamin barrier crème. 

The crème comes with a smooth and non-sticky texture. Not much thick or having a watery consistency, just got the perfect creamy consistency, making it easy to apply. I use it twice a day, in normal routine. In diarrhea days or at the first sign of redness I sift to apply a thick coat after every diaper change, soon the redness or happy rash effect start to decrease and resolve completely on one or two days.

Directions for Use

Apply twice daily to clean dry skin paying special attention to particularly dry areas. Massage in gently to help penetration of the cream. Do not apply to oozing sores.

My thoughts:

My baby is a very friendly and loving toddlers, making him an apple of every individual that he came across. So to show gesture of love, every one kisses on her cheeks, triggering his so sensitive cheek with huge irritation together with redness and swallow red patches. I have tried this products twice on his cheeks, was just amazed to see the results. Even not being a steroid based crème, it shows immediate results, the sw0llen patches soon turn off, and in no time redness become so reduce. I was hesitant to buy a product that wasn't 100% organic with all natural ingredients, however, I went down a long road before I came to this one and I want to save you the time and energy I wasted.

My thoughts:

I got this product in sample size 5ml. So I have just used it once on my skin not my baby. As I wanted to try this crème firstly on myself. So with first time use, I found this to be good facial crème. Comes with a slight very pleasant smell. Good texture and is non sticky and non-greasy. Absorb very well in skin. Giving a fresh smooth effect to skin.
