Kryolan TV paint sticks….is one of the most commonly used foundation stick in salon. It’s great to be used for bridal, party, model make up etc. I have two shades of it 3W and FS-45. It’s with me for about 2 years.

Shade Selection:

While buying it, I was guided to choose from 3 shades …Ivory, 4W and 3W. Hmmm… I found ivory to be very pale, 4W much darker for my skin tone and 3W was good but a bit lighter than my skin tone. So, I purchased 3W but to make the color match with my skin tone I purchased another shade FS-45, which was a bit darker than my skin tone. So by combing these two I got some what exact shade matching my skin tone. So, I would recommend you to personally visit Kryolan outlet to choose the right shade.

Application:

If you have dry skin I would suggest you to apply a primer or a good moisturizer underneath, as it get difficult to blend on dry skin .this is what I do in winters as my skin get dry out in winters but in summer no primer or moisturizer .

I personally apply it with wet sponge, beauty blender work best for this purpose. After it dries it give you a dewy surface for makeup….but wait before applying makeup I settle the foundation with a translucent powder (Kryloan or Revlon lose powder).

Concealer Required or Not:

When using Kryloan TV stick, there is no need of concealer, as it works both as foundation and concealer. It cover all blemishes, dark circles and acne spots. In short it hides all your flaws. A best coverage for uneven skin.

Cakey/ Heavy:

Many people claim it look cakey and is a heavy weigh foundation. According to my experience it’s not cakey at all I found it matt but heavy or light all depends how many coats of the foundation you apply. While saying this, no it’s not a daily wear foundation… as it clog pores.

Staying Power & Quantity:

Staying power is awesome. Goes more super with a translucent powder over it. For oily skin you would may need to dust for loose powder. As with a combination skin; oily t zone, I use more powder on my t-zone. Coming to the quantity. It’s enormous. Once you bought it, it would last for years.

Pros:

• Foundation plus concealer.
• Excellent coverage.
• Good staying power.
• Reasonable price with great quantity.
• Over 250 shades
• Easily available.
• Great for party, bridal, etc. make up.         

Cons:

• Can’t be wear on daily basis.
• Clog my pores.
• Difficult to blend in winters and on dry skin.
